Terrazzo Workshop - October 20 - 1pm

Location: 1 St. Clair. West. We will meet in the lobby, and head up to the studio as a group.

Join us for an afternoon of crafting, and learn how to make your very own terrazzo oval tray, as well as your choice of marbled bubble tray or donut cup. Hand-make two pieces to be proud of, whether for yourself or to give as gifts.

We'll walk you through the process -- from selecting a colour palette, to mixing and molding the material, to sanding and sealing the finished pieces. Enjoy complimentary refreshments as you create.

Accessibility:

• Elevator accessed, step-free facility, and accessible bathroom with grab bars.
• Making the trays will require moderate hand, wrist, arm strength and dexterity, similar to that needed for making a cake batter.
• Using the materials and tools will require high detail vision, with moderate ability to distinguish colours.
• Attendees with disabilities are more than welcome to bring a companion to assist, at no additional cost.

Children:

• Kids aged 13+ should be perfectly fine on their own, but parents / guardians are welcome to accompany and assist at no additional charge.
• A parent / guardian must be present with children under age 13, for the duration of the workshop.
• The workshop is not suitable for children under age 10.
